Tent Setup
Tent and Table Setup Instructions for Volunteers
Setting up a 10' x 10' tent requires a minimum of 2 volunteers and a maximum of 4 volunteers.
Step 1: Go to Your Assigned Location
Proceed to the marked tent location designated by the coordinator.
Step 2: Set Up the Tent
Pull the tent legs apart to expand the frame.
Attach and secure the canopy top.
Raise the tent legs gradually.
Fully extend the legs and secure the tent to the ground using the provided stakes.
Step 3: Place the Tables
After all tents are positioned in their designated spaces, begin placing tables under the tents.
Not every tent will have the same number of tables.
The coordinator will guide you on how many tables belong in each tent.
Step 4: Place the Chairs
Once the tables are set up, arrange the chairs according to the coordinator's instructions.
Step 5: Install Banners
After the tent, tables, and chairs are in place, attach the appropriate banners to identify the purpose of each tent.
Step 6: Place Tablecloths
Tablecloths may be placed on tables simultaneously as banners are being installed.
Follow the coordinator's directions regarding tablecloth placement.
Important
Always follow the coordinator's guidance regarding tent locations, table counts, chair arrangements, banners, and tablecloths.
Work safely and communicate with your team while lifting and securing tents.
